Zenit St. Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has become the latest person to be linked to taking over the vacant position at the helm of Inter.
With England boss Fabio Capello and Liverpool tactician Rafael Benitez seemingly impossible to obtain, Spalletti is seen as the third option, and a more viable one, according to SportItalia.
The Russian side's management is starting to worry, as the rumour surrounding its coach starts to intensify. He has only been at the helm of the side for under a year, after leaving Roma at the start of the Serie A season.
The former Udinese coach helped Zenit to win the Russian Cup earlier this year, and currently finds himself in Italy for a charity match.
